| The above pictures are from Lake City, South Carolina of Wood in and on an ancient Bald Cyprus log unearthed from sand pits and carbon dated to be up to 45,000 years old, some of the oldest ever found perfectly preserved, not petrified. Wood's brother Keith Newton is turning wooden bowls from this wood. You'll be hearing about this amazing find on Discovery Channel, and National Geographic, big press event coming in Feburary '05. | |
